Shader Feedback

The Shader Feedback window (accessible via the View menu) provides per-pixel debug information for the ray tracing pipelines. It reports data for the pixel under the mouse cursor, or under the locked target overlay when enabled.

  • Raygen – particles – Displays per-pixel ray tracing results: global and local splat ID, hit count, closest and iso-surface distances, closest and integrated normals, alpha, weight, and transmittance values.
  • Trace profile – When enabled, records and plots the sequence of particle hits along the traced ray, showing distance and contribution for each intersection.
